Royston Mebol Sebastian is the Head of Security at GLP Lawyers International (Malaysia), where he leads the firm's security, investigative and operational support functions.
Drawing on more than 21 years of service with the Royal Malaysian Air Force Military Police (Provost Marshal Unit), Royston oversees sensitive investigations, lawful surveillance activities, asset tracing support, witness location, evidence preservation and security risk management across matters involving commercial disputes, fraud, asset recovery and cross-border litigation. His role includes coordinating investigative strategies with the firm's legal team to ensure evidence is obtained lawfully, efficiently and in a manner suitable for litigation. Before joining the firm, Royston served as a Military Police Provost Marshal with the Royal Malaysian Air Force. During his military career, he was responsible for enforcing military law, conducting investigations, protecting restricted military installations, managing security operations and responding to operational incidents requiring discretion, discipline and sound judgment. He also completed specialist training in military policing, investigative procedures, close escort protection, security operations and crowd management. Royston was awarded the Royal Malaysian Air Force's Excellent Service Award on four occasions in recognition of his professionalism and operational performance over a distinguished military career. His combination of military discipline, investigative experience and operational leadership enables GLP Lawyers International to provide clients with an integrated capability extending beyond legal representation to encompass litigation support, factual investigations, surveillance coordination and security-sensitive assignments. |
