Nigel Lo (罗显龙) co-founded GLP's Perth Office and practices predominantly in the areas of commercial law, asset protection, litigation and property and has experience in dealing with a diverse client base that comprise of ultra high net worth individuals, prominent international corporations as well as foreign lawmakers in conducting offshore investigations.
Before commencing legal practice, Nigel co-founded AI-development firm, Fourth Side Technologies as its New Markets Advisor. He has also assisted international clients investing in small to medium sized commercial developments in Perth. With his commercial background, Nigel believes that lawyers must place themselves in the position of their clients and offer commercially realistic solutions and embrace innovation when dealing with legal issues. Nigel’s strength lies in his ability to understand the concerns of both international and local clients and in his commercial approach in resolving legal issues. He is the first Malaysian to be awarded the "Long Tan Australian Defence Force Leadership Award" in 2010 by the Australian National Department of Defence in recognition of his contributions to community development and social justice. Deeply passionate about Malaysian politics, Nigel acted as the digital campaign director for the United People's Party (UPP) during the 2016 state election in the state of Sarawak, East Malaysia. The party secured 5 out of 7 state seats it contested on behalf of the National Front Coalition.
